Hawzah News Agency- According to a correspondent from the Hawzah News Agency in Tehran, the grand drill “Janfada-ye Iran” began minutes ago with the participation of diverse segments of the Iranian people at Imam Hossein (AS) Square.
During the event, different groups of people have formed 72-member battalions to demonstrate their determination and resolve to defend the Islamic Revolution, the homeland, and the Guardianship (Velayat).
Commander: Janfada Drill Embodies Revolutionary Spirit of Iranian Nation
Colonel Hamed Alikhani, Commander of the Imam Khomeini (RA) Basij Resistance District, speaking to a Hawzah News Agency correspondent on the sidelines of the ceremony, stated that the grand Janfada drill is a manifestation of the revolutionary action of the Iranian nation.
“Praise be to God, various groups of people have participated in this ceremony in a completely organized manner,” he said.
The commander continued: “Every moment we are witnessing more groups of people joining this ceremony, and the Iranian nation is demonstrating from the country’s capital its will to defend the Islamic Republic system and the country.”
Clergy Have Always Sacrificed Themselves for the People and Iran
Among the notable aspects of this ceremony is the presence of clerics wearing Basij uniforms and prepared for battle. Hojatoleslam Javad Toubaei, a religious expert, told a Hawzah News Agency correspondent on the sidelines of the ceremony: “The clergy have always sacrificed themselves for the people and Iran.”
He added: “The seminary students of Tehran stand alongside other segments of the people in defending the Islamic Revolution and are ready for self-sacrifice.”
According to this report, on the eve of Sacred Defense Week, the grand rally and drill “People Sacrificing for Iran” has commenced in Tehran, coinciding with the 200th night of steadfastness and resistance and the powerful presence of the Iranian nation in the squares.
The program began at 8 a.m. today with the participation of various segments of the people, and the epic march of “Janfada” forces from Imam Hossein (AS) Square and the Navvab Highway intersection toward Enqelab Square is among its main sections.
